Henceforth, A Place To Write will be the name of my publishing company. This is where you will be able to acquire my digital, and sometimes printed, books. My hope is that when I'm gone, APlacetoWrite.org will become a charity providing a safe place to write for one or more writers who may have experienced threats of harm for writing, as I did.
You see 'way back in 2006 the Board of Directors and Property Manager of my building in St. Catharines Ontario Canada sent me a letter forbidding me to own a one-person business in the condo I owned. That business was simply writing how-to books and delivering them via mail and the Internet.
What happened as a result made my life extremely difficult and unpleasant. I'll tell you more as I complete work on this website and the books I've written. I plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign when I have all the details worked out.
This van may become my future home, office on wheels, and a place to write.
